Adam Ceesay

Dr. Adam Ceesay was born in the Central River Region of The Gambia. Dr Ceesay is a renowned researcher who specializes in Climate Change and Biodiversity, specifically climate-induced change and adaptation in mangrove ecosystems. She has over 14 years’ experience in the science-policy interphase, leading strategic programme design in capacity development, partnership creation and implementation of projects for the protection of sensitive coastal ecosystems. Dr Ceesay is certified in Leadership and Mentoring. In her spare time, she provides career counselling and mentorship opportunities for young scientists.
